Australian Ballet Production of Swan Lake Five a Side Football in London Greenwich Meridian Line - Green Laser Beam | Greenwich Meridian Line - Green Laser Beam
A lazy sunday afternoon stroll in Greenwich on a jolly cold November day. Luckily I had the lovely C to keep me warm, always nice to have a sexy girl on your arm, I find it really does keep the temperature up! We went to the Greenwich Observatory but the day was grey and overcast, not to mention rainy, so no photos, however here is a nice collection of Greenwich Royal Observatory Pictures. We wandered down to Greenwich and had a look around, meaning of course we spent the afternoon having surreptitious body contact brushing up against each other while chatting and clocking shop windows. Like all popular tourist places there were bundles of places to eat and have coffee, including all the normal chains, at Starbucks we had these fantastic marshmallow sticks dipped in chocolate, I'm going to try and make them myself asap, they were that good. The Meridian Line goes straight through the Royal Observatory which is located in Greenwich Park - London, it's always struck me as a tremendous coincidence that the meridian line just happened to go straight through the spot where the Royal Observatory was, us Brits are just so lucky!! Walking back up the hill in the dark we were amazed to see a fantastic green laser beam curving out from the Observatory along the Meridian Line - fantastic! |
